They managed to crush a pet taxi. How the f*** did that happen?
We noticed this a week or so after the flight when I decided the cats had had enough time to get used to their new home and wanted to put the pet taxis away.
When I removed the smelly old towel from one of the pet taxis, I saw the gash in the bottom.
The pet carrier was a large dog carrier, with metal sides in the upper half, for big dogs. If a Rottweiler could not make a dent in such a carrier, a couple of cats certainly did not have a go at it.
From the looks of the gash, the pet carrier had been subjected to tremendous lateral force -- aka. crushed.
We did not complain to the airline. Why bother neighbors or relatives for phone or computer use to deal with people who did not have the decency to inform us that something had happened along the many thousand miles.
