UK cow tipping

Cow tipping is an American tradition.

Sneaking up to a sleeping cow and gently pushing her over is an attractive prospect to some and an awful thought to others.

Before you point to Wikipedia and say "wait, it is an urban legend", remember that the U.S. is the place to be for all things urban legend. This is exactly why we call it an American tradition.

It took us thousands of miles and quite a few years to see something close to a tipped over cow, and we needed to got all the way to the United Kingdom's Udderbelly.

The huge purple, upside down cow is much more impressive an any other fake cow, including the German Milka chocolate cow, which happens to be purple, too.

You can catch the Udderbelly Festival in London until 14 July, with a tremendous variety of shows at the London Wonderground. The show Limbo in a grand old (new) Spiegeltent is breathtaking fun for under 20 quid.
