It is always 5 to 12

On the church clock in the small Slovakian town of Lukovistia.

There is only one through road, with the single other road that looks like it might lead anywhere, coming to a dead end at an abandoned cooperative milk farm.

Smack in the middle of town, right next to the church, on top of a power pole, is a nest of storks. The storks go about raising a family without paying any attention whatsoever to the people.

A small bar, and a grocery store just as small, comprise the amenities of the town.

If you happen to stop in Lukovistia, have a very close look at the belfry of the church.

The clock will show 5 to 12, no matter what the time of day.

Upon closer inspection, what looks like yet another broken clock in yet another small town off the beaten path, reveals itself to be painted on.

All four sides of the clock have been painted in great detail, easily fooling you if you hasten by.
